• Song of the Year (“Gerua” fr. Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale; my #SRKajol duet)!

he needed my help in carrying this pair!

Pritam seems to have the “secret formula” for combining rhythms and melodies in many distinctly intriguing Indian ways. He is AMAZING. It’s so great to see him getting recognition!
I am delighted to have shared a small part in his much-deserved successes! He was also so kind to share the glory with a relative newcomer like me. Also to the great Shahrukh-ji: Sir, you really gave me a thrill on our stage number, and I’ll never forget being hugged by our #1 actor like we’re best of friends.
Knowing that these songs will live on long after us is some comfort in the face of a stressful, fickle industry… and all in all I feel only gratitude for my own many wonderful opportunities to be a part of India’s rich music history. I work with such gifted artists!
