This post is actually our 100th on my blog-site (however, only about 95 of them are published so far—we take time to plan, write and verify the veracity of our content), and this updated WordPress version of the site is now 10 years online serving the playback-singing community! Yay for us all at antaramitra.com! This tech stuff involves minute details that can make or break a WWW site, and I do appreciate your work.
My skilful, earnest and dedicated web team first built a similar web site in 2014, which was accidentally lost later that year (during a migration process intended to harden it against intrusion and to make it more reliable and consistent with professional development standards).
But my web site development team was “hot on it” when the loss occurred. In less than 60 days following the loss, we had a newer, better and more robust site—which was the basis for what you see here now. Plus, when secure domains became required/expected on the World Wide Web, we upgraded to conform to the standard, with only a rare hiccup.
Our last unannounced site hiccup occurred on September 2, 2025, due to some minor software incompatibility issues that have since been resolved (a day later, this time).
Well done, my dear swift and well-informed team, and thanks for your continued dedication and support for the Bollywood movie industry, including me!
To me/us, the “technology issues” are among the least interesting aspects of creating and maintaining a web site about South Asian playback music and singing.
